Nokia and Microsoft Form Partnership for Smartphones

The worlds dominant phone maker on decline Nokia, recently unveiled its newly appointed CEO's plan to partner with Microsoft. In a shocking move to the mobile Market, Windows Phone 7 will be the premiere operating system on Nokia smartphones; eschewing Symbian and Meego. According to CEO Steven Elop:
"There are other mobile ecosystems. We will disrupt them. There will be challenges. We will overcome them. Success requires speed. We will be swift. Together, we see the opportunity, and we have the will, the resources and the drive to succeed."
